As an Integrative Massage Therapist, I believe in customizing a treatment plan that is tailored to your specific needs, and incorporates how you're feeling in your body at the time of your appointment.

Are you interested in a full body Swedish relaxation massage? Perhaps a more targeted deep tissue session on your shoulders? lower back?  Are you a runner and desperate for some work on your hips? legs?

You can start booking 30, 60, or 90 minute Integrative massage sessions at Ameliorate, Mind, Massage, Spirit today!

Lymphatic Drainage

Lymphatic Drainage Therapy aims to gently and rhythmically move the lymph through the body, especially swollen areas of the body, relieving pressure and enhancing the functioning of the immune system. As both a preventative and remedial technique, LD can be used for a wide range of purposes including faster recovery from injury, reduction of swelling and discomfort from pregnancy, and strengthened resistance to illness.

It's important to understand these are two very different modalities that promote healing.

A Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) session feels like a gentle, flowing wave, guiding your body’s natural rhythms to release toxins and excess fluid. It's all about quieting the system, inviting ease, and encouraging the lymphatic flow with soft, rhythmic strokes.

In contrast, an Integrative massage feels like a nurturing dance with the muscles, releasing tension and melting stress away with deeper strokes and soothing kneads.

While MLD invites the body to cleanse and restore balance, integrative massage invites the body to unwind and relax into a peaceful state. Both are healing, but each brings a different kind of serenity.
