I bring a unique and heart-centered approach to massage therapy, shaped by a deep background in both health sciences and life experience.  I hold dual bachelor's degrees in Psychology and Health & Human Services with a concentration in Early Childhood Development from SUNY Buffalo.

 

My journey into bodywork began after a profound personal loss, which guided me to massage school in Jacksonville, Florida.  I completed my training at the Alpha School of Massage and passed the national board certification exam.  It's here I also discovered I will always need the four seasons and returned to my home state.  After navigating New York's rigorous licensure requirements, I earned my NY license and now practice in the beautiful Hudson Valley.

 

With over two decades of experience in the corporate technology world, most recently as senior manager in IBM's Watson Health division, I bring a grounded mindful presence with compassionate listening to every session.  My interest in Manual Lymph Drainage (MLD) ignited through my own healing process, and I completed certification in this gentle, highly effective technique this year.

 

A longtime client of Ameliorate, Mind, Massage, Spirit, I am thrilled to offer therapeutic integrative massage through the same studio that supported my own healing.  I believe every session is a chance to reconnect with your body's innate intelligence.  Sessions are always tailored and begin with a thoughtful check-in to ensure you receive exactly what you need that day.
